Your dedicated cat rescue organization serves the Tri-Cities area of Eastern Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. We're a small, all-volunteer, non-profit (501c3) committed to giving abandoned, abused, neglected, and surrendered cats a second chance at life. Our mission is to ensure these precious felines find loving, forever homes where they can thrive.

At FRANK, we specialize in Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) for feral cats, providing medical care for those in need, and offering compassionate foster care while they wait for adoption. We also provide hospice care for elderly and special-needs cats, giving them the comfort and peace they deserve in their final days.

Every cat we help is a step toward our vision of a kinder world for these beautiful creatures. Thank you for supporting us in making a difference!

FAQ

1. How can I adopt a cat?

We make the adoption process simple! Start by filling out our adoption application here. Once approved, we'll connect you with available cats based on your preferences and needs. Our team will help you meet the perfect feline companion to take home and love forever.

2. What's included in the adoption fee?

Our adoption fee covers spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, and a wellness check by a veterinarian. It ensures that your new cat is healthy and ready to become part of your family.

3. How long does the adoption process take?

The adoption process typically takes 1–2 weeks, depending on the availability of our team and the needs of the specific cat. We work with you every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition for both you and the cat.

4. Can I adopt if I live outside the Tri-Cities area?

Yes! While we prioritize local adoptions, we welcome applications from outside the area. However, transportation and other logistics will need to be discussed to ensure the cat's safe arrival at their new home.

5. How can I become a volunteer?

We'd love to have you on our team! Volunteers help with fostering, caring for cats, transporting them, and assisting with our TNR program. To get started, fill out our volunteer application here, and we'll contact you with available opportunities.

6. Can I foster a cat?

Absolutely! Fostering provides a temporary home for cats waiting to be adopted. As a foster, you'll play a crucial role in socializing and caring for the cat until they find their forever home.

7. I can't foster or adopt, but I still want to help. How can I contribute?

You can make a huge difference by donating! Your contributions help us cover medical costs, food, litter, and other necessities for the cats in our care. You can also support us by spreading the word about our mission, attending our events, or even sharing our posts on social media.

8. How do I make a donation?

It's simple! You can make a donation here through PayPal. We also gladly accept in-kind contributions like cat food, litter, and toys. Feel free to contact us for a list of items we currently need.

9. Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all monetary donations to FRANK Feline Rescue are tax-deductible. We provide a receipt for your records after each donation.

10.  Can I surrender a cat to FRANK?

We prioritize rescuing abandoned, neglected, and abused cats. While we accept some surrenders, we ask that you carefully consider the circumstances before reaching out. We are not equipped to handle behavioral issues like improper litter box use or rehoming due to housing restrictions. These situations require special attention and are not ideal for adoption. Please contact us for guidance, but note that we are focused on helping cats truly in need.
